League kicks off tomorrow

THE Border Rugby League starts tomorrow after the postponement last weekend due to the Independent Electoral Commission registrations.

Breakers will travel to King William’s Town to lock horns with Africans in the super league. Old Collegians will take their game to Mlungisi Stadium against Evergreens. Shining Stars will travel to Buffalo City to take on Gonubie Sea Birds. It is a bumper weekend for fixtures.

In the super league, Winter Rose tackle Walter Sisulu University All Blacks, Swallows are at home against Berlin Tigers, and newcomers Ocean Sweepers travel to meet Fort Hare Blues.

In an East London derby, Police take on Buffs and, in an intriguing clash, defending champs Old Selbornians face off against Cambridge.

In the premier league, King Brumbies are at home to Young Leopards, Ntlaza Lions travel to Stutterheim to play the Wallabies, Busy Boys take on Ngculu Zebras and Ready Blues have a bye. Second team matches start at 2.15pm and first team
