
PRESIDENT Jacob Zuma has expressed deep sadness and extended his heartfelt condolences on the passing of the renowned radio presenter and actor, Mr Mandla Hlatshwayo, was killed on Sunday in Soweto, Johannesburg.
“The country has lost one of its shining stars in the entertainment industry. He reportedly passed away at the hands of cold hearted criminals. We convey our heartfelt condolences to his family. Our prayers and thoughts are with them in this difficult period. May his soul rest in peace,” Zuma said.
Hlatshwayo – who was a radio presenter at Johannesburg based radio station, Jozi FM – would be remembered for his brilliant acting talent he displayed in the popular television soap opera, Generations as well as in the youth educational drama, Soul City.
