THE Komani police have indicated that rumours of a black Golf that had been seen in Komani and was believed to be involved in attempts to kidnap children, have no substance.
Social media was rife with reports on the vehicle today as parents were warned that the vehicle was believed to be involved in attempted kidnappings.
Police spokesman Captain Namhla Mdleleni said no incidents of kidnapping or attempted kidnapping – or the involvement of the occupants of a black Golf – had been reported.
