TWO men are in custody following the alleged rape of a 17-year-old girl in Tambo village near Komani.
Police spokesman Captain Namhla Mdleleni said the Whittlesea police had arrested the two suspects, aged between 30 and 35, on Friday.
The girl is believed to be mentally handicapped and lives with her grandparents.
Both suspects have appeared before the Komani magistrate’s court and were remanded in custody pending further investigation.
