THE police are looking for the mother of a two-day-old baby girl who was found abandoned in open veld in Zone 3 at Ekuphumleni near Whittlesea yesterday.
Police spokeswoman Captain Namhla Mdleleni said the baby was seen by a passerby who informed the police. The infant has since been taken to Dongwe Hospital.
