Komani’s rainfall over the past three days is currently standing at 93.5 ml. The most rain fell on Sunday accumulated to 53.5 millimetres (ml) while Tuesday’s measurement stood at 2.5 ml. Yesterday’s measurement was 37.5ml. Enoch Mgijima Municipality parks and recreation manager Ronell van Zyl said the normal annual rainfall in Komani was around 600 and 700 ml.Van Zyl said last year’s annual rainfall was about half of what was needed and much more rain was needed. The Bonkolo dam is currently at below measurable level.
