Three parcels of dagga were seized after a search of a home in Burgersdorp on Friday.
Police spokesman Captain Ursula Roelofse said the arrest of a man was in line with the Back to Basics campaign in terms of enhanced police visibility and the targeted and informed deployment off resources.
