Fire crackers and dogs

Date:

SPCA manager Betty Cree has urged locals to ensure that their dogs are kept in secure places in order for them not to escape from festive season fire crackers.

Cree said, “According to the law people are not really allowed to use fire crackers but it happens every year. Dogs escape because their level of hearing is more intense as compared to humans.”

Cree said when dogs escaped they were often injured or even killed.
