Dicla Training and Projects commemorated Nelson Mandela’s centenary year in style by treating elderly people from around Komani to a warm lunch and entertainment on Wednesday.
Assistant manager Lungiswa Mandlendoda said, “We thought of a special way to give back to the community. Old people need to be taken care of and most of the days are dedicated to youth and children.Hence our 67 minutes initiative was specially dedicated to them.”
Agriculture graduates who is doing an internship within the company as a media marketing and communications office, Zabembo Gwabeni, said “It was great to spend this day by sharing what Mandela stood for, his values and principles. We prepared coffee and lunch for elderly people. It was even more special to celebrate two grannies who were 100 yearsold today. We also took them on a tour around the farm.
