Steyn said in a statement that she carried out an oversight inspection of the agri-park and found it in disrepair. Over R10-million had been invested in the project with new equipment vandalised and carried away. The agri-parks initiative was launched in 2015 as one-stop shops for agro-production support, processing, logistics, marketing and training within district municipalities.

Steyn said questions on the state of affairs at the site were due to be asked from the Minister.
