The much loved Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality (EMLM ) art gallery building burned down while local volunteers from the Community Policing Forum did what they could to contain the fire.

The incident occurred while the municipality’s fire engine had been taken for repairs.The fire took place after there were numerous calls from the public for the municipality to take measures to preserve the abandoned building. Read full story in The Rep on Friday Video: ABONGILE SOLUNDWANA
