Operation Shanela resulted into the arrest of three suspects who were found with drugs in Komani and Thornhill. The arrest was made by SAPS members attached to Chris Hani District Task Team on Friday, 12 January 2024.
SAPS Captain Mdleleni said: “Police members were busy conducting operation in hotspot areas and during their operation three suspects aged 28 and 40 years were searched and found in possession of drugs to the value of R7000.00.”
Suspects are expected to make their first appearance on the 15th of January 2024 for possession of drugs.
“All arrested suspects will appear at Court on Monday 15 January 2024 for possession of drugs.The Chris Hani District Commissioner Major General Adolph welcomed the arrests done by the dedicated team,” said Captain Mdleleni.
