HYDROGEN and fuel cells were in the minds and on the lips of pupils at this year’s national science and debating competion provincial finals, where Queen’s College claimed the top spot. Hudson Park of East London was second and Holy cross High School third out of 10 participating Eastern Cape schools at the 2016 Saasta Natiourn School Debate Competition. Queens will join the eight other provincial schools in the national final in Johannnesbal on October 6.

The winners will be awarded a trip to New York.The competion aims to encourage young people to adress key issues around science and technology that are faced by their communities, through the medium debate.
