THE sentencing of convicted murderer Mzukile Brand, 33, following the death of Cathcart resident Barry Armstrong in the town in December 2014 was postponed again on Tuesday.
The postponement followed after Brand’s attorney was unable to attend Tuesday’s proceedings.
The sentencing was postponed until December 12.
Armstrong, 77, died in hospital in East London almost a week after he was attacked in the Cathcart Bowling Club.
He had gone to the club to finish installing burglar bars following break-ins earlier in the week. – Rep reporter
