KWAKOMANI Comprehensive High School celebrated its prize giving and matric valedictory ceremony at the Mzi Skweyiya Hall on Tuesday. Principal Victor Pakade said they used the events to also launch the Quality Results Campaign.
“Our events were of high quality because we have been working as a team in this school towards the education of our learners. The parents, teachers and our school governing body have been spearheading these initiatives and our learners have benefited.”
Guest speaker Reverend Dinga Mpunzi from the Anglican Church told students of the importance of moving forward with faith towards their final exams which started on Wednesday.
Pakade said he was confident that the school’s 144 matric learners would improve on last year’s 51% matric pass rate.
“Our learners are ready. We emphasise the importance of quality in our results. We want our learners to strive for quality and secure distinctions and bachelor passes.”
