The power outage continues in the Top Town and Blue Rise area this afternoon with a resultant impact on the water supply to the entire Komani area.
Reports circulating on social media have urged residents to use water sparingly as the electricity supply to pumps has been cut off – a similar situation to what was experienced last week.
The power went out at about 2am today.
The latest feedback from the Enoch Mgijima Municipality is that technicians have found the problem which is related to a faulty cable in Ebden Street. It is anticipated that the power will be restored later today.
