BREAKING NEWS: The power cut in Prince Alfred Street and Ebden Street in the Komani CBD is apparently related to a cable that was damaged during roadworks.
Repairs are underway but it is estimated that the outage will continue for about another three hours, according to information from the municipality.
The power went off at about noon.
