Munnik dam level up in drought-stricken Dordrecht

SOME GOOD NEWS: Munnik Dam in Dordrecht (above) – the dam feeds Anderson  dam in the drought-stricken Dordrecht area – is 100% full. At the Anderson Dam (below) the water must reach a certain level to gravitate to treatment works and then on to the reservoirs, Chris Hani District Municipality spokeswoman Thobeka Mqamelo said this week. The Anderson Dam is currently at 40%.
