ALL eyes are on the SAB soccer league which draws to a conclusion with teams fighting to end the season on top of the log as Valgas took the first position after a draw on Tuesday.
Recently removed group B log leaders Amathole suffered a humiliating defeat of 4-1 against MK Academy in Sada on Saturday, while Holy Kings used their home ground advantage and beat Difra Stars 1-0 at the Ezibeleni Stadium. Mighty Bucs beat Love n Peace 1-0 in Molteno on Sunday.
Valgas won 1-0 against Mighty Cosmos at the Dumpy Adams Stadium on Saturday. Valgas drew one-all with Difra Stars on Human Rights Day. They then took the first place with 26 points. They are followed by Amathole with 22 points.
Difra Stars has 17 points, MK Academy is in fourth position with 15 points and Holy Kings are fifth with 14 points.
Mighty Cosmos has 12 points in sixth place, followed by Mighty Bucs with nine points and Love n Peace with six points.
Group A log leaders Amavarara suffered a 3-4 loss against Mafez over the weekend in Dordrecht. The team remain leaders of the group with 26 points. No teams have a game in hand now as they have all played 12 games.
They are followed by Young Stars with 17 points in 11 games. The team will play Peace Brothers in Engcobo at 3pm.
In group B, Mighty Bucs will play Amathole in Molteno and MK Academy will face off with Valgas in Sada, both on Saturday at 3pm.
Holy Kings will host Mighty Cosmos at Ezibeleni Stadium while Difra Stars will play Love n Peace in Molteno on Sunday at 3pm.
