ENOCH Mgijima Local Municipality (EMLM) launched its corporate identity to much fanfare today, including choral music and poetry as entertainment for the locals who filled the town hall.
Executive mayor Lindiwe Gunuza Nkwentsha unpacked the logo, mission and vision as well as the values of the local authority. She said there was a lot of work to do to live up to the principles of prophet Enoch Mgijima. Council speaker Mzoxolo Peter said the amalgamation of municipalities was never easy and the local authority remained a developing municipality.
