
THE Congress of the People has described the late PAC leader and struggle stalwart Phillip Kgosana as one of the selfless servants of the people who made enormous sacrifices for the freedom enjoyed today.
Cope national spokesman Dennis Bloem said his party was saddened by the passing of Kgosana. “Cde Kgosana’s contribution to the liberation struggle of this country remained unquestionable. He was also one of the selfless servants of our people. He had always put the people first, he was a very good example to many of us who were part of this bitter struggle against apartheid,” Bloem said.
He said the death of Kgosana was not only a loss to his family but to the entire nation.
“He was one of the liberation leaders who fought and made enormous sacrifices for the great freedom we are enjoying today. We, the Congress of the People, convey our sincerest condolences to his family, comrades, friends and his political party the PAC. We will continue to salute this gallant hero. May his soul rest in peace.”
