KOMANI police arrested an 18-year-old man for an alleged rape of a minor yesterday in Zola village outside the town, police spokeswoman captain Namhla Mdleleni said on Sunday.
Mdleleni said the case of rape was opened on Friday. “The report we received was that the 4-year-old girl was playing with other children in Zola village, Lesseyton when the suspect allegedly called her and raped her.” Mdleleni said the suspect will appear before the Komani Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
