THE Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality (EMLM) is in for a visit by the MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Fikile Xasa.
In a statement today, the department announced that Xasa, who is expected to be accompanied by a provincial support team, would be visiting the municipality to look at the progress rendered by the department in an effort to intensify support to improve the performance of the municipality in various focus areas indicated as in the support plans.
The departmental team will be at the municipal offices for the meeting with municipal officials at 4pm tomorrow.
