The Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality has advised that the power in Ezibeleni will be off for about an hour.
Spokesman Gcobani Msindwana said the power outage was due to an emergency situation in the Unathi Mkefa area.
The power is currently off, with the municipality calling on residents to be careful and to view electricity as live as it may come on at any time.
