A MOTORIST died in a collision with a truck on the N6 between Cathcart and Komani yesterday.
The Rep reported that traffic was disrupted for an extended period on the road about 30km outside Komani at about 3pm. Motorists were rerouted along a gravel road as traffic authorities worked to clear the scene.
Police spokeswoman Captain Namhla Mdleleni confirmed the crash, saying that the driver of the sedan vehicle which collided with the truck, died on the scene.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
The road has since reopened..
