WHILE power has been restored in Mlungisi, the Victoria Park, Aloevale and New Rest and Ezibeleni areas, the central business district and a few other residential areas can expect a power outage from tomorrow.
Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality (EMLM) spokesman Gcobani Msindwana confirmed that areas which were due to have been cut off on Friday, would now face a power outage from tomorrow at noon.
Msindwana has indicated that lenghty outages were not expected but that there would be “switching interruptions.”
The power is expected to be restored fully on Saturday at 7am.
Affected areas will include: Amberdale, Komani Park, Sandringham, Tarkastad, Flowers Halt, Madeira, the central business district, Calderwood Street, Bushell Street, Westbourne, Ebden Street, the SPCA area, Laurie Dashwood Park, Southbourne and the area around the former Group 39 army base.
