Young golfer shines on the course

A tear in his rotator cuff has not stopped Gabriel de Jongh of Queen’s College from achieving on the golfing greens.

His father, Tim, said this week that Gabriel had been booked off sport as a result of the tear but he was soon back on the golf course.

He recently attended the Border Junior Golf Tournament over 18 holes in Kei Mouth and returned with a gold medal, after winning the B division with a gross of 83 and a nett of 73.
