Light snow is expected to fall on high ground in the Eastern Cape overnight.
According to the website www.snowreport.co.za, a cold front is expected to have brought snow to the extreme high peaks of the South Western Cape by this afternoon.
By tonight, snow is expected to fall on the mountains of the Eastern Cape, with the focal areas around Hogsback and Dordrecht.
