Today is known as International Fairy Day so if you’re a fan of these mythical creatures, it’s time to celebrate. Fairies feature in cultures all over the world and have been the subject of movies and books, so off you go to try and find a small, winged creature hiding in your garden.
If that’s not your scene, don’t worry. Today is also World UFO Day so if you’re seen scanning the skies from first dawn, you may be forgiven on this day which pays tribute to those elusive unidentified flying objects (UFO) which have also featured on movie screens and in books worldwide.
