The Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality (EMLM) has called on Ezibeleni residents to expect a planned electricity outage on Wednesday.
EMLM spokesman Gcobani Msindwana said the outage was to allow time to connect the new 11kV breakers at the Ezibeleni 1Kv substation. The outage will start at 7am and the electricity will be restored at 7pm.
EMLM has apologised for the inconvenience and has called on everyone to treat the electricity as live as it will be restored without notice.
