EC 10111 centres operating as normal – police

SERVICE delivery at Eastern Cape 10111 centres continued as usual this morning, despite a nation-wide strike by SAPU affiliated Public Service Act employees, the Eastern Cape police indicated in a statement this morning.

Spokesman Brigadier Marinda Mills said four SAPS 10111 centres in the Eastern Cape (Mthatha, Port Elizabeth, Komani and East London) were running efficiently as advance notification about the planned labour action had been received.

“Contingency plans were put into place and the SAPS can assure the public that service delivery continues without interruption at our centres in the province.”

Mills said the measures would continue until the strike was resolved.
