THE Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality electricity department has indicated that it is working on a power outage which has affected Prince Alfred Street and surrounds since just before 4pm.
The cause of the power outage is not known, but according to a municipal source, it may be due to a cable that has been damaged in the area.
It is not known when the power will be restored.
