SECTIONS of Grey Street in the Komani CBD remain without electricity following an outage on Monday afternoon.
The Rep reported that the outage had apparently been due to a cable that was damaged during roadworks in Griffiths Street.
The power was due to be switched back on last night, but apparently another cable problem prevented this from happening.
The Queenstown Civic and Ratepayers’ Association indicated this morning that technicians were working on the problem from 8am today. It is not known when the power will be back on but The Rep will try to keep residents updated.
