On this day seven years ago, the Inaugural Women’s Legacy Dialogue took place in Sandton, Johannesburg. The event consisted of female leaders from the government, the corporate sector and civil society. The objective of the meeting was to discuss issues that South African women were facing and to find possible solutions to bring about social change.
Approximately 250 women attended the dialogue discussing the reduction of violence, job creation, women empowerment and upholding the legacy of Women’s Day.
