Celebrate International Literacy Day, next Friday, September 8, by dropping off your unwanted children’s books at The Rep offices, 24 Prince Alfred Street, in Komani.

Depending on the number of books we receive, we will hand these out to the children’s ward at Frontier Hospital and needy pre-schools in the area.
If you have any ‘grown-up’ books you would like to donate, that’s welcome too! We’ll hand these out to the old age homes in the area.
International Literacy Day was declared by Unecsco on October 26, 1966 to remind people of the importance of literacy for individuals and communities.
