MEMBERS of the Elliot K9 unit and of the Barkly East stock theft unit recovered suspected stolen wool bales valued at R50 000 yesterday.
Police spokesman Captain Ursula Roelofse said police, following up on information spotted a white Isuzu bakkie on the R58 between Barkly East and Lady Grey. A chanse ensued and three suspects, aged 21, 22 and 23, were arrested for possession of suspected stolen property.
Two bales, valued at R50 000, were seized. The bakkie was confiscated.
