Military combatants around Eastern Cape will be making their way to Komani where the minister of Human Settlements and presidential candidate, Lindiwe Sisulu, will be addressing deytchments of Umkhonto Wesizwe (MK) on Monday, September 25.
MK national council regional convenor, Sipho Ngwethseni, said the purpose of the visit is to honour all MK cadres within the housing program and to honour the late Qonda Hoho who is famiously known as ‘Lion of Mlungisi’ from Qoqodala who died fighting for the country in 1987.
Sisulu will be visiting the home of where the struggle hero was killed, she will lay a wreath as a sign of remembrance, 30 years after his death.
