POLICE have urged protesters to proceed with care along the N2 as Breidbach community members of King William’s Town are burning tyres in the area.
Police spokesman Captain Siphokazi Mawisa said the protest, which started at 6am, was believed to be related to service delivery.
The N2 has been closed with rubber bullets used to disperse crowds.
The Public Order Policing Service is currently on the scene.
