The towns of Sterkstroom and Dordrecht were rejoicing today as good rains have been recorded in the area.
Adele Richardson of Sterkstroom indicated that 55m of rain were measured on Monday and Tuesday.
In Dordrecht, which has faced severe water shortages for over a year, Charlotte van der Berg said residents were thrilled after 56mm of rain fell over two days.
