MEMBERS of the Dordrecht visible policing unit seized dagga during a crime prevention patrol in the town on Wednesday.
Police spokesman Captain Ursula Roelofse said a 28-year-old suspect was taken into custody with 13 zolls of dagga confiscated. A 52-year-old woman was later arrested and 41 zolls of dagga, found hidden in a pot, seized.
Roelofse said the operation was in line with the Back to Basics campaign which focuses on increased police visibility.
