OVER 20 dogs – and two cats – are believed to have been poisoned in Komani’s residential areas – and a plot outside the town – over the past two weeks.
While links have yet to be confirmed by the police, vehicles in the same neighbourhoods have been stolen at the same time.
The police, community policing forum and local veterinarians have raised concern about the poisonings while several pet owners have been left distraught as a result.
