THE Komani police, concerned by a sudden spate of vehicle thefts and the poisoning of dogs in residential areas, have vowed to step up patrols at night.
Over 20 dogs have been poisoned and four bakkies stolen over the past two weeks.
Police spokeswoman Captain Namhla Mdleleni said police would be stepping up patrols and urged members of the public to report suspicious activity in their areas to the police.
