FOR the past three days Komani has been experiencing temperatures of up to 30 degrees Celsius and according to weatherSA, UV intensity levels are on a scale of 3-4 meaning people are recommended to wear a hat and sunscreen with SPF 15. A scale 5-6 is rated as being moderate, it is recommended to wear a hat, sunscreen with SPF 15 and to stay in the shade while 7-9 is rated as being high.
 it is advised for people to stay indoors between 10am and 4pm when the rating is high. A rating of 10+ is considered a very high risk of overexposure of UV rays from the sun and in addition to the precautions recommended above, it is advised to stay indoors between 7am and 5 pm if possible.
The temperature for Komani has been set at a maximum of 31 and a minimum of 14 degrees today.
According to accuweather, the highest risk times of UV exposure will be from between 11am to noon and from 1pm to 3pm.
