Police in the Glen Grey area have lodged an inquest following the death of an 11-year-old boy over the weekend.
Police spokesman Captain Namhla Mdleleni said the boy and his friend had gone fishing on Friday. It was not clear what had transpired, but the child’s body was recovered on Saturday.
