Electricians from the technical services department of the Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality are currently in a meeting to discuss a dispute.
The details of the dispute are not known.
The electricity has been off in Prince Alfred Street in the Komani CBD since 10.55am with The Rep told by a source that no-one was currently attending to the problem or trying to fix it due to the dispute.
EMLM spokesman Fundile Feketshane confirmed that the staff were in a meeting. He did not elaborate on when the power outage would receive attention.
