SIX people have died after an Eastern Cape Health Department minibus overturned on the N6 between Sterkstroom and Komani this morning.
Police spokesman Captain Namhla Mdleleni said the vehicle, conveying passengers between Sterkspruit and East London, overturned shortly before 7am.
Six people – including a child whose age has not yet been released and the driver – died on the scene. A further 14 people have been admitted to hospital in Komani.
Mdleleni said police are investigating the crash.
