A crowd of people stood by in shock on Wednesday while police tried to drag the body of an unidentified man from the Komani River. The man’s body was found floating in the river with vendor Musa Nonkobongo saying he noticed the body at 8am while getting ready for work. Nonkobongo said the police came after 1 pm to extract the body. Police spokeswoman Captain Namhla Mdleleni said an inquest had been lodged.
