It is Human Rights Day today, a day which is celebrated on an annual basis across the globe.
The day was selected based on the UN General Assembly’s adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) on December 10, 1948.
The day advocates for all people to enjoy rights as humans including the right to freedom and justice.
