Police have arrested a suspect following the armed robbery of security guards in Cacadu (formerly Lady Frere) earlier today.
Police spokesman Captain Namhla Mdleleni said police had responded swiftly to the armed robbery of security guards who had been loading money into an ATM in the town.
The suspects fled with the guards’ firearms and an undisclosed amount.
Police arrested one man with three suspects at large.
Two guns and a vehicle were seized.
Police are investigating a case of armed robbery.
