Two youths held for drugs in Jamestown

THE police have arrested two youths, aged 16 and 17 respectively, for allegedly being in possession of 22 parcels of dagga in Jamestown.

Police spokesman warrant officer Moitheri Bojabotseha said the arrests were made at Maskhane township on Monday.

Further investigations led police to another house where a 35-year-old man was arrested, allegedly while busy packing dagga into parcels.

A further 20 parcels of dagga were seized.

The minors have been handed back into parental custody and the older suspect has been detained.
